This course is designed to advance a home inspectors knowledge of different structural components as it relates to terminology, proper installation, floor framing, wall framing, roof framing, etc. This is an ideal course to help inspectors increase their knowledge and confidence in applying their skills to the art of home inspection. This will be a presentation from an inspector’s point of view. It will include many actual photos from on-site property inspections as well as proper details for identification and tracing problems. It will reference structural components in a Kentucky approved Standards of Practice, describe report writing of these concerns, and refer to the Kentucky approved Code of Conduct.
Cost is $15.00 per credit hour ($45.00) for KREIA Members
Cost is $25.00 per credit hour ($75.00) for non-KREIA members.

Continuing Education Schedule for 2008
We are pleased to announce new Dues and Education fee improvements.
The easy part to explain is the membership dues for 2007 - 2008 will remain at $120. To join KREIA there will continue to be a non-refundable $30 application fee. So no change.
There is a new education fee schedule going into effect that will provide a significant improved educational value for our membership.
For the first time KREIA members can purchase an education season pass for all educational events through September 2008 for $250.
This will give the membership an opportunity to better plan their education by not having to depend on one big event to obtain their continuing education.
This new season educational pass also comes at a significant savings. As a KREIA member who purchases the season education pass for $250 you immediately save $45 off the $295 pay-at-the-door price for the October Seminar. The season educational pass has a potential savings of $500 if you attended all KREIA Kentucky accredited educational opportunities.
With the season education pass, you would just sign in at the door and show your pass. The only additional fees would be for food.
The membership should have now received the annual dues notices that will contain additional information.
